Stuart Eivers, MPT, DPT, OMT, OCS
Stuart Eivers is the clinical director of MTI Physical Therapy in The Washington Athletic Club. Stuart has been working the field of outpatient orthopedics for since 1992. He became a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2003 and has been active with the Seattle Orthopedic Interest Group (OSIG). He has also been involved with teaching and consulting at the University of Washington's Physical Therapy program. He has been a clinical instructor for over a dozen student interns over the past 14 years, and helped instruct in numerous courses for physical therapists and other health care professionals. Stuart has focused his practice on sports and spine injuries. As a father of two, Stuart finds the time to enjoy hiking, basketball and bicycling. He has been active in the basketball league and Golf Club at the WAC.
Education:
- Masters in Physical Therapy from Chapman University (1992).
- Post-graduate residency program in Orthopedic Manual Therapy from the Ola Grimsby Institute (1997)
- Doctor of Physical Therapy in (2000) from the OGI, with a dissertation on exercise in patients with herniated lumbar discs.
