Robin Schoenfeld, PT, OMT
Robin joined Manual Therapy International in December of 2003. Her career in Physical Therapy began in New York City, treating many patients from the prestigious Rusk Rehabilitation Institute.
Robin specializes in the treatment of orthopedic and sports related injuries. Robin is successful in treating women's health diagnoses, including female pelvic floor weakness, stress/ urge incontinence, and pre and post-partum dysfunction.
Robin became a member of the legislative committee of the Washington State Physical Therapy Association. She has recently attended the State Government Affairs Forum conducted by the American Physical Therapy Association. Robin is a key player in protecting the broader health care needs of her patients and community.
In college, Robin was member of the Albany State Women's Rugby Club and as such is very knowledgeable in sports related injuries. Robin has completed four marathons, including the New York City Marathon, the Seattle Marathon and Dublin, Ireland Marathon with the Leukemia Society's Team in Training fundraising program, and recently completed her first sprint triathalon. Robin has volunteered at the New York Marathon providing emergency medical care as part of the triage team for runners at the mile16 first-aid station. Local and international runners were assessed and treated acutely to foster their marathon completion. Professionally, she successfully uses her skill to identify and treat runners who encounter pain and poor performance due to diagnoses such as plantar fasciitis, bursitis, back pain, e.g., related to faulty biomechanical training issues.
Additionally, Robin is an avid runner, skier, biker and loves to hike the Olympic and Cascade Mountains locally.
