Lisa Flexner

Lisa Flexner, DPT, OMT, CSCS

Lisa is skilled in treatment for all neuro-musculoskeletal conditions, from the extremities (arms and legs) to the spine, and from the new injury or surgery to the chronic condition. She graduated from the University of Washington with an emphasis in orthopedics and performed research in movement analysis during gait (walking). As a practicing Physical Therapist, she has continued her training with specialization in Manual Therapy through the Ola Grimsby Institute and the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She incorporates these methodologies to create individualized rehabilitation treatment plans, emphasizing identifying and treating the underlying causes contributing to her patient’s symptoms. She treats patients of all ages and ability levels, working to return them to optimal function, whether that is national-level athletic competition or a full day’s work.

Outside of work, Lisa is a professional classical vocalist and avid recreational athlete. She participates regularly in cycling, triathlon, Ultimate Frisbee, hiking, volleyball, and cross-country skiing. She has also volunteered as participant and medical crew with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training, the Multiple Sclerosis MS150 bike tour, and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3Day walk.

  • Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Stanford University
  • Master of Arts in Organizational Behavior from Stanford University
  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from National Strength and Conditioning Association
  • Lisa is currently pursuing postgraduate certification in orthopedic manual therapy from the Ola Grimsby Institute and NAIOMT.
