Joseph Brazill, DPT

Joe is a graduate of the University of Washington. Joe’s interest in physical therapy began when he personally experienced neck and shoulder pain after long periods at the computer as a technical writer. Joe brings to MTI a wide variety of experience gained through his clinical rotations where he worked with patients who had a variety of pathologies including neurological disorders, vestibular disorders, cognitive disorders and post-surgery at Life Care Center of Kirkland; in the medical/surgical and critical care units at Whidbey General Hospital; and with patients who had a variety of musculoskeletal injuries, overuse injuries and sport and work related injuries at MTI Physical Therapy. Additionally, Joe is an educator and organizer for falls prevention events, teaching individuals in the community about the risk factors for falls and how to prevent falls. He will further his training in Manual Therapy with the Ola Grimsby Institute beginning in January 2009.

Joe is passionate about understanding client needs and helping find solutions that will reduce their pain and maintain their lifestyles.

Joe worked for years as a technical writer in sales and marketing and is familiar with the stresses of computer work. His interests include playing percussion in his band, martial arts, hiking, remodeling his home, and preparing for the birth of his twin daughters.
