Erin Kinneen, MSPT
Erin graduated from Boston University with her Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2006. She completed undergraduate studies there as well, graduating with a B.S. in Health Studies in 2004. Her clinical rotations were completed in inpatient therapy at Tufts University’s New England Medical Center in Boston, MA, outpatient physical therapy at Colorado Sports and Spine Centers in Colorado Springs, CO, and acute rehabilitation at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA. She worked at the University of Washington’s Harborview Medical Center as an outpatient clinician for the first three years of her professional career, working both as a therapist in the Emergency Room as well as at Harborview’s outpatient clinic where she primarily treated patients with orthopedic and chronic injuries. Her caseload in this population was diverse but most of the patients she treated were victims of trauma or recent immigrants to the United States. She did also work some with the Foot and Ankle Institute there. Erin has been active with the Physical Therapy Association of Washington since her arrival in the state.
Originally from NH, Erin rode cross country by bicycle in 2004 to raise funds and awareness for the affordable housing crisis. She remains involved with Habitat for Humanity and Vashon Household. She did race competitively for Boston University after this cross country ride. While she still occasionally rides her bicycle, today her free time is primarily spent running, practicing yoga, surfing, kayaking, hiking, skiing, learning, painting, and enjoying the good company of her friends and family.
