Dan Washeck, PT, OCS, FAAOMPT
Dan began his career working with individuals suffering from
spinal cord and brain injuries. After advanced training, he later
changed his focus to Orthopedics/Manual therapy and has been
integrating his experiences from both settings since. Before moving to
Seattle in 2004, Dan was working in an outpatient orthopedic clinic in
St. Louis, Missouri. Dan's clinical experience ranges from working on
top level athletes to everyday injuries and especially enjoys the
challenge of working on chronic pain conditions that have not
previously responded to conservative treatment.
In addition to clinical practice, Dan has enjoyed making the Pacific Northwest his new home. Some of his interests include Hiking, Skiing, Kayaking, Running and Bow Hunting.
In addition to clinical work, Dan is an Instructor for the Ola Grimsby Institute, actively involved in teaching continuing education courses to other physical therapists in the area.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Missouri -Columbia (1998).
- Part 1and 2 Orthopaedic Manual Therapy residency training from the Ola Grimsby Institute in 2004.
- Part 3 Orthopaedic Manual Therapy residency from the OGI graduate in 2005, currently in the dissertation phase of earning his DPT.
- Clinical Instructors training from St. Louis University in 2004.
- Dan is a Fellow of the American Association of Orthopedic Physical Therapists
- Dan received his Board Certified Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy in 2003
