 | Cindy Unsleber, PT, MPT, DMT, OCS, FAAOMPTCindy was born in Michigan, and moved to Seattle in 2008. She graduated from Grand Valley State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Sciences, and a Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy in 2000. Prior to graduation, her clinical rotations included William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI, St. John Macomb Hospital in Warren, MI, Bon Secours Cottage Hospital in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI, and Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI. Following graduation, Cindy was employed by Spinal & Orthopedic Rehabilitation for 7½ years. There, she treated a mostly adult orthopaedic population, including patients with spinal injuries and conditions, work and sports injuries, pre and post surgical patients, and patients involved in motor vehicle accidents. To a lesser extent, she also treated patients with neurological disorders and conditions. In addition, she designed and implemented aquatic therapy programs for patients who were unable to participate in traditional exercise programs. She is certified in CPR and AED training. Cindy is also a member of the Michigan Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association. Cindy received her board certification as an orthopaedic clinical specialist in 2006. In her free time, Cindy enjoys participating in outdoor activities, such as backpacking, hiking, skiing, running, and kayaking. She has hiked sections of the Appalachian and Pacific Crest Trails, as well as the Wonderland Trail encircling Mt. Rainier. She also enjoys traveling, and visits her grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles in Germany as often as she can. Education:
