Brian Tuchscherer, DPT

Brian joins MTI Physical Therapy after graduating from the University of North Dakota with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He grew up in Moscow, Idaho where he completed his undergraduate studies in Sport Science and Spanish from the University of Idaho. Brian has lived and studied abroad in Heredia, Costa Rica at La Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Heredia and traveled to Colombia and Panama to continue using his Spanish. Seattle and MTI physical therapy are a good fit for Brian as he has a love for the Pacific Northwest and a background in manual therapy. Prior to graduating, his clinical rotations included working with neurological disorders at the Sister Kenny Institute in Minneapolis, MN, medical/surgical diagnosis at Swedish Medical Center, as well as a rotation with MTI physical therapy. He is skilled in the treatment of neuro-musculoskeletal disorders and also has a background in Ergonomics and Prevention and Wellness and incorporates these principles into his treatment approach. He will further his training in Manual Therapy with the Ola Grimsby Institute beginning in January 2009.

Brian played tennis for the University of Idaho and continues to enjoy following the sport and playing recreationally. Other personal interests include traveling, good coffee and espresso, and Latin American music and culture.
